About the job
For a plastic production company we are looking for a Mold Setter / Injection Molding Mechanic. You will be part of a multifunctional production team and you will work in a 3-shift system (Monday 07:00 till Saturday 07:00). The production process is processing PVC by injection molding technology. In this job your work include conversion activities, solving process-, machine-, robot-, and molding failures. You are responsible for the quality of the products and you will make adjustments where necessary. Also you will carry out preventive maintenance of the machinery and the dies. On a daily basis your day look like:- Kickoff and handover.
- Weigh and review of all current products and record in the quality system.
- Scheduling of the daily activities.
- Changing of molds according to the schedule and starting up the production process.
- Quality control of the product.
- Convert molds to other versions.
- Change of color between production runs.
- Set up and optimize automation (robots and periphery).
- Resolve of process faults.
- Solving malfunctions of the machines and molds.
- Implementation of process and mold improvements.
- Summer period three weeks;
- and Christmas holidays two weeks.

For this job it is important that you possess the following qualities / skills / education:- Technical educated;
- Willing to work in the day shift and available for breakdown services.
- Handy tinkerer;
- Able to work independent;
- Hands-on mentality and dare to take initiative;
- You are working in a solution-oriented manner;
- When you are having the possession of NEN 3140, BHV and forklift experience it will give you an advantage in the process.
You deserve it
Good work should be rewarded well. In this job the following conditions apply:- A salary between € 2.800,- and € 3.600,- gross per month (€ 350,- netto (with less experience, full cost house and health insurance) and € 630,- netto (full experience, own accomodation and health insurance)).
- Housing (if needed) with one person per room.
- 25 free days on yearly basis.
- 8.33% holiday allowance of your gross salary (yearly paid in May / June).
