Production Operator

About the job

Only available when you have your own house in the Netherlands and can travel to this location independently. We are looking for a skilled Operator to join our team. This full-time role is based in Waddinxveen, offering a salary range of €2544.00 - €3370.00 per month, depending on experience. The workweek is 36 hours. As an Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of production lines, maintaining high-quality standards, and actively contributing to process improvements. You will manage multiple lines, oversee colleagues, and ensure everything runs efficiently while adhering to safety and food safety guidelines. You will:

• Operate and monitor production lines, ensuring processes run smoothly from start to finish
• Conduct quality checks and manage product samples for quality control
• Perform routine inspections, including CCPs (Critical Control Points) like metal detection
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with the Technical Service team
• Train and guide junior operators to support their growth and development
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring adherence to HACCP and BRC standards
• Take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Shift Supervisor

You are:

• Experienced, with at least 3 years in a production environment
• Familiar with safety standards and food safety protocols
• Proactive, with strong technical skills and a focus on continuous improvement
• Detail-oriented, able to quickly identify and resolve issues
• Comfortable working in day shifts, with the flexibility to move to a two-shift system if needed in the future

You have it

 

• Experience of at least 3 years in a production environment, preferably as an operator or in a similar role
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of production processes
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems effectively
• A hands-on mentality, with a focus on quality and safety
• Familiarity with HACCP and BRC guidelines
• Flexibility to work day shifts, with the possibility of switching to a 2-shift system in the future
• You take pride in continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to optimize processes
• Your house is within 20 kilometers of Waddinxveen
