About the job

As a Project Engineer you will play a crucial role in industrial and maritime projects. Your main responsibilities include designing and writing PLC software for electrical control systems, testing and commissioning this software both in-house and on-site, and creating electrical designs and specifications for customer installations. Key responsibilities:
  • Design and develop PLC software for electrical control systems.
  • Test and commission software in-house and on-site.
  • Create electrical designs and specifications.
  • Oversee hardware engineering and assist with drawing packages.
  • Define project scopes and maintain detailed designs.
  • Collaborate with project leaders, lead engineers, and software engineers.
  • Guide panel construction, conduct acceptance tests, and commission systems.

You have it

To start working as a Project Engineer, you need: 
  • Suitable education, preferably in Electrical Engineering/Industrial Automation.
  • Experience in the industrial, maritime, and offshore sectors is a plus.
  • VCA-VOL certified or willing to obtain it.
  • Proficiency with PLC systems like Bachmann, Siemens, and Allen Bradley.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, E-Plan, MS Office, MS Visio, and Access.
  • Ability to speak and write in  English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical, stress-resistant, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Accurate, customer-oriented, professional, and flexible mindset.
  • Strong awareness of quality, safety, welfare, and environmental issues.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training.
