About the job

As a TIG Pipe Welder, you will work on heavy-wall carbon steel piping for a large residential heating network. Your welds must meet strict quality standards and will be inspected through visual and NDT testing. You will join a professional team working on one of the largest sustainable heating projects in the Netherlands. The work is well organised, and new buildings are started every month. This means long-term job security and a stable working environment. Your tasks as TIG Pipe Welder include:

TIG welding (process 141) of carbon steel pipes;
Preparing pipe joints before welding;
Reading technical drawings and isometric drawings;
Checking weld quality before inspection;
Working together with pipe fitters and installation teams;
Following safety and quality procedures.

You have it

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Experience as a TIG Welder or Pipe Welder;
A valid ISO 9606-1 certificate (process 141), or willingness to renew it;
Experience with pipe welding and inspected welds;
Ability to read technical drawings;
English communication skills;
A VCA basis or SCC certificate, or willingness to obtain one;
Availability for long-term work in the Netherlands.

Experience in district heating, shipbuilding, petrochemical, or process piping projects is a strong advantage.

Salary between €3,250 and €3,800 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek;
Maximum annual gross salary of approximately €49,248 including holiday allowance;
